I combine practical expertise in agentic AI with extensive experience in digital products and professional learning. My work explores how AI changes what people can accomplish and how they think, learn and develop.
Organisational AI
My work leading digital and AI-enabled innovation includes establishing and co-chairing organisation-wide AI initiatives, drafting policy and standards for AI governance and responsible use, and designing a phased pathway for AI adoption and development.
I have produced guidance on model use, intellectual property, bias, quality assurance and human review, and developed a seven-stage framework for taking an AI use case from definition through design, implementation and evaluation.
Further professional study at Oxford in the contemporary organisational application of AI and practical AI engineering informs both sides of my practice.
Agentic systems
I founded Considered Ideas Ltd to ground a cross-model product-development practice in live product work, using custom AI agents and multi-agent workflows.
Its model-agnostic product-definition layer combines structured intake, context engineering, specialist-agent hand-offs, independent model review and human approval gates, with defined clarification and escalation paths.
Production agents draw on a reusable library covering product definition, architecture, accessibility, content safety and evaluation, supported by automated testing and controlled release.
The initial application is a focused portfolio of original iOS products centred on language and wordplay. Taking three through the full product lifecycle to App Store release has provided a live environment in which to refine the underlying agents, production skills and controls.
Background
My interest in AI grew from an interest in how people think and learn. I studied philosophy at Trinity College Dublin, focusing on philosophy of mind, before completing a master's degree in AI at Sussex.
I began my career in instructional design innovation and later became Director of Instructional Design, leading strategy across a large organisation. I went on to advise major international clients on bespoke digital learning, overseeing multidisciplinary work from definition through to delivery.
As Learning Services Manager for a professional body with more than 100,000 members, I oversaw production and was business owner for a major redevelopment of its learning system and online store, coordinating internal teams and external suppliers.
This breadth allows me to connect AI strategy with the people, products and systems needed to put it into practice.
